
COMFORT USMAN KARIKO
Comfort Usman Kariko is a Program Assistant at the Rule of Law and Empowerment Initiative, also known as Partners West Africa Nigeria, Kaduna Office. She has a keen interest and expertise in Criminal justice reform and Conflict Resolution.
She is a fellow of the Women in Conflict 1325 Fellowship by Beyond Borders, Scotland and is trained in Conflict Analysis and Peace mediation by the United States Institute of Peace, Childs Rights Theory and Practice by Harvard Online and is also trained in fundraising for non-profits and in Project Management.
She has implemented projects with a focus on Youth inclusion in Peacebuilding processes and Youth accountable participation in Governance. In her role as a Program Assistant, she engages in the provision of free legal services for human rights Defense and access to justice for SGBV Victims and also engages in research, capacity building and advocacy for the implementation of government policies such as United Nations Resolution 2250, Administration of Criminal Justice Act/Law.
